Join our team as a full-time Medical Billing & Insurance Specialist and work in our back office team at our Minneapolis clinic! Use your healthcare billing experience to ensure patient claims are processed correctly and patients receive the most out of their benefits.
Please note – this position is required to work in our Minneapolis office.
What you’ll do:
- Work with carve out infertility insurances and major medical insurance companies
- Navigate multiple payor sites
- Work patient aging reports for assigned accounts
- Accurately work patient EOBs
- Post charges and payments
- Create appeals for denied claims
- Answer patient billing questions
What we want:
- At least 5 years’ medical billing experience required; specialty healthcare billing experience highly desired
- Demonstrated understanding of full cycle healthcare insurance billing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Desire to provide exceptional patient service
- Computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and EMR experience
- Ability to manage time effectively and enjoys multitasking
- Ability and willingness to comply with billing standards and guidelines
Work Schedule:
This benefit-eligible, full-time position is expected to work 40 hours per week.
- Monday – Thursday | 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday | 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
